FRUITY FRIDAY : CALAMONDINE AKA ACID ORANGE

We have bad weather along this week.
Poor internet connection, and sometime we have lost the electricity.
Hmmm... limited access for blogging.
Late posting, late response the comments and no blog walking.
I'm so sorry about it, especially to my regular readers.

But my row of fruity pots on my front yard looks so cheer.
The acid orange or calamondine (Citrofortunella sp) tree is showing me its fresh fruits.

The orange skin is so 'refreshing' my eyes.
Although the fruit is so small and the flesh is quit sour, but it's great for fresh tea, both cool or hot.
High vitamin C....

I can find the little green calamondine  and the flower on this little tree too.
So, I can find the fruit every day.

Fruity day, every day...

  3. Nice to harvest your own calamondines Endah. The plants are already looking good by the orange colour of the fruit and I suppose the lovely fragrance of the flowers.

    1. Maybe your climate is too cool for the orange. So, I think you can grow it in the green house.
