PARE : THE FRUITING SEASON HAS STARTED

Time has gone so fast...
My garden, especially my backyard has changed time by time.
Look my additional raised bed...
I have harvested lots of here, then pull out all the weed and old wasted plants.
Now the only vegetable that still remain on this raised bed is bitter gourd or pare vines.

This plant has longer life time period than others in this bed.
The vines climb on the wires that fixed on the wall.

I have picked the first fruit several days ago, the some fruits are ready to be picked next three or four days.

Lots of little fruits are hanging on the vines.

Lovely...

  2. We are starting to clear beds of spend crops now. They will then remain bare through winter.

    1. Almost each two week I do 'land clearing' on different bed or patch. So, I can grow continously.

  3. Time is quickly passing enjoy your days in the garden. My garden did not do well, we had too much rain. Your pare plant is very lovely. My garden is empty of plants. This fall I will add dried leaves and grass to it. To restore the nutrients for richer soil next spring. Have a blessed day.

    1. Yes, soil needs a break time to take a rest and recharge the 'power', so the next season, our garden will much better. Enjoy your day, and have a wonderful week!

Wishing you a great new week!

    1. Thank you, Christina. This vegetable is so popular in South East Asia. We can find it on so traditional markets and groceries here.
