MY PASSION... TODAY.

This is my real passion.
Really edible passion.

Last month my passion fruit plants was showing me its first flower.
Right now... so many flowers... so many fruits are hanging on their vine.
Look my gate... full of flowers and fruits.

I can't wait to pick them.
But they aren't mature enough.
I have to wait for about one or two week forward.

  3. Wow, Endah, that is so beautiful! Love the way you've trained the passion fruit to make an arch into your property! Will the plant die back after fruiting or will you still have leaves to complete the arch?

    1. Passion fruit is a perenial vine. Before I planted passion fruit, I planted kembang telang (Clitoria ternatea) and pare/ bitter gourd on that trellis. This plant will set flowers and fruits around the year.

  5. Lovely passionflower, which variety is it? I have a huge passionflower here in my London garden too, but sadly it is not an edible variety, as they are not hardy here. Mine has been flowering for 6 months and produced a lot of fruit and there are still a few flowers left but I think this is the end for this year.

    1. This is green-yellow variety, I'm not sure about the name. There are so many edible varieties of passion fruits here. This variety is compatible in low landtropics. Passion fruit is a perenial in tropics, they will produce fruits for about four years on optimum condition.
