TRICOLOR CHILLI PEPPER

Almost of Indonesian people like spicy dish.
So... Indonesian food usually have hot and spicy taste.
Hot and spicy taste usually come from chilli peppers.
In Indonesia, there are a lot of variety of chilli peppers.
I planted some varieties on my garden.

This is my tricolor chilli pepper.
It have colorful fruits.
Young fruits have purple color, then it turns creamy purple color.Nearly mature fruit have orange color, and the mature fruits will turn to red.

It's so interesting when we can find fruits on every stage of their maturity at the same time, so colorful.

I plant this chilli as a vegetable plant also as an ornamental plant.
Their stem look purplish.

I really love this chilli... hot and beautiful.
How about you?

  3. We grow a lot of the non-hot bell peppers but like the Jalapeño when we use hot ones. They really aren't too hot compared to the rest of them but they are good in Mexican dishes.
