Last  Friday, I took three ingredients  of my bouquet to make a traditional dish from Sumatra Island called balado terong.

  1. This looks yummy! How do you serve it? Do you eat it with something else? Linda@Wetcreek Blog

  2. Thank you Linda. In Indonesia, everyday we eat rice for the main menu. For the side dish we have sayur and lauk. Sayur are dishes that made from vegetables. And lauk are dishes that made from egg, meat, chicken, processed soya, fish and other protein sources. I serve the balado with rice.
